Saved Search Formula help

I have a custom field that is a check at the item level.

Looking for a way to convert "TRUE" to the word "Refurbished" and "FALSE" to "New"


I've tried the following Formula(Text) in my saved search to no avail.

CASE WHEN {item.custitem_refurbished} IS TRUE THEN "Refurbished" ELSE "New" END

I keep getting ERROR: Invalid Expression

I appreciate any help that can be given.
