need default search to search item description
Is there a way to set the default search (that is located in the upper right corner) to search item descriptions?
NS changed the way a purchase order is populated, grabbing the item name, instead of the item #, so I have blanked out the item name field, so NS will default back to the item # on our purchase orders.
Turns out the default search was searching the item name field.
When a customer is on the phone, we can no longer do a search for an item "on the fly" like it used to work.
So either we change the item name field back and loose the purchase order layout we need, or we have to go the long convoluted route to do a search thru the custom search option.
