Using the addition sign in formula fields.

Can anyone help me add fields together using the Formula(Numeric) field under the Highlight sub-tab? I want to create this:

IF ( ( {quantityavailable} - {reorderpoint} ) + {quantityonorder} ) is LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO 0, THEN highlight that row.
