Enhancement 137916 - A Purchases By Item Report That Is What it Says It Is

Please vote for this enhancement to make the Purchases By Item report a Purchases By Item report rather than a load of nonsense.

Currently the purchases by item report includes "Assembly Build Transactions".  Despite the fact that these are quite clearly consumption and not purchases apparently this was by design.

If you are a manufacturer this makes the report useless. 

Consequently we have to vote for an enhancement to get a "Purchases By Item Report" which does what it should.
