Inventory Worksheet Numbers Not The Same As Inventory Counts

I'm having an issue where the inventory counts on an individual item record aren't the same as what comes up when I want do run an Adjust Inventory

Specifically:

Pulling up the item record for "Apples" says I have 4 apples in stock.

Then when I want to do an inventory adjustment (either a "Inventory Adjustment Worksheet" or just "Adjust Inventory"), this shows I have 300 apples in stock.

Help!
