Create a Transfer order from a Quote Form

edited Nov 26, 2019 8:36AM in Accounting / ERP 3 comments

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to create a Transfer order from a scripted button on a Quote form, that auto-populates the items and relevant fields from the Quote form to the Transfer Order.

Reason for this is to initiate Customer trial orders from the Quote Form and despatch it via a scripted button which activates a Transfer order to despatch the trial order out to customer(moves the Trial order stock from Location A to Location Trials).

We would then be able to utilize Netsuites CRM to measure this, such as pipeline analysis. Whereas if this is done on a Sales Order form it would read WON Sale in Netsuites CRM, which is of no use for us because the the Trial Sales order is still on Trial until we get confirmation from customer that trial is successful.

Howdy, Stranger!
