Huge Bounce Rate-Why now?

We just sent out bulk emailer to 20,000 recipients. We experienced a huge bounce rate of 40%  our bounce rate typically is less than 20%
We did not change anything on our end. Same URL same template as always.

Any ideas on what to look for to fix this before our next e mailer goes out?
