Dynamic Group not showing Saved Search

I am trying to build a Bulk email merge.  Here is the way I understand how to create.

1) Create Saved Search
2) Create Dynamic Group (selecting saved search)
3) Build email merge

I am having trouble with #2.  I created a saved search, but now I cannot get it to show in the field for "saved search" in Create Dynamic Group.  Is there a box that needs to be checked or something else that is preventing my saved search from showing up?

(It is a customer search, marked as public)

Any help would be much appreciated!!!
