CC Fraud Detection via IP Address - Is Anyone interested??
Hi,
I'm new to Netsuite. My OLD (Home Grown) system retains the IP Address of the customer placing a transaction. Netsuite does not, or at least they don't make it available in the transaction record.:mad:
I use the IP Address to confirm a customer's physical location in the world. For example: If all the Security Match data is good with a billing address of Pasadena CA, but the physical location of the computer used to place the order is located in Nigeria, then the order is obviously fraudulent. This is only one example of many scenarios I've uncovered over the last 10 years. If we did not have the IP Address, well, you know the rest... CHARGEBACK CHARGEBACK CHARGEBACK ect.....
