Automation of Drop Ship Purchase Orders

The manage intercompany sales orders is effective.

However the process of having to go to each and every sales order that has a location of drop ship to click on the icon "create PO" is tedious - especially when your system is receiving 100's of orders in a day!

How can that be automated? It should be a similar screen to the manage intercompany sales order - instead be called "Generate Intercompany purchase orders"... who has dealt with this challenge already?
