Replacement for Full Access Role

As an admin/consultant I have been having a lot of trouble with the loss of the Full Access role.  I have several clients that have users who need Full Access but not Admin Access....  Is there no better solution that the painstaking process of trying to select all of the items they need access to from the drop downs? 

Has anyone found a better solution?
