Best Practices for Disposal of Expired Inventory
Hello everyone,
I just wanted to see what everyone's method of disposing inventory in NetSuite is. The way my organization handles this is we do an Inventory Adjustment to the applicable item, lot code and location with a GL impact Credit to Finished Goods and Debit to Inventory Obsolescence where, hopefully, we have properly accrued a reserve for the risk of spoilage.
Any thoughts or other methods that you use?
