Purchases by Vendor This Year vs Last Year

Is there a report in the system that will show purchases by vendor comparing this year vs last year? I am not seeing any in the standard reports. I can build a saved search, but am still learning the formulas. Can someone share the formula to compare the values? Appreciate the help!
