Entering long Sales Orders (75+ lines)

edited Dec 16, 2019 7:41PM in Ask A Guru 3 comments

Is there a maximum (actual or recommended) number of lines for a Sales Order Transaction?

We are getting regular browser crashes when entering transactions in the region of 75-100 lines of items. I've confirmed the browser (Chrome) is up to date - we're experimenting with using Microsoft Edge for a few days to see if that improves reliability.

We have tried saving the Sales Order periodically during the transaction which does reduce the amount of lost work when the browser crashes, but it still seems to happen as the order gets into the region of 75-100 lines.

Also, these transactions tend to include a lot of Special Order items - so saving the Sales Order partially completed can cause complications with this (and is less than ideal)

Howdy, Stranger!
