What best practices do you use when you want to assign expense reports to campaigns?

Our campaigns consist of events i.e. Tradeshows, Demo's, golf outings, all of which have expense reports created; however there is no way to assign these expense reports to a specific campaign.  What kind of resolution would you suggest?
