Get record type of Sales Order entity

Greetings,

I have stumbled upon a problem to load relation of the Sales Order.

I am using SuiteScript 2.0, getting value for field "entity" of Sales Order, it returns some ID, but it appears that entity can be either Customer or Job.

Problem: When I try to load Customer with ID but it is actually a Job I would get an error

Question: How can I get which specific type is set for an entity in particular Sales Order.
