Deprecation of intercomapny journal

Hi  everyone,

I have a doubt on Intercompany Journal creation. I have heard that the normal intercompany journals were being deprecated? 

If not, is there any chance that this functionality (normal intercompany journals) will be removed from Netsuite in nearby future? Will there be only an advanced intercompany journal?

Do we need to go with the Advanced Intercompany Journal?
