Is it possible to modify Netsuite native subtabs?

Is it possible to do basic modifications to native subtabs in Netsuite? Two basic examples are the Item Pricing subtab under Customer records, and the Stock Information subtab under Item records. Is there any way of rearranging columns or adding columns in the native subtab? Not sure if it's possible with form customisation, but may be with scripting?
