Send separate email of a transaction using a custom html template

Hi guys,

Is it possible to email to a customer a Sales Order by using a custom html template, that is not linked on the relevant form? I have 2 separate Sales Order templates; one will be sent via the standard “Save & Email” functionality and the other should be sent with the use of a separate action(button).

I have created a button with a send email action(workflow) but I can’t find how to add the custom html template of the sales order in there. Is this doable in workflow or does it require suitescript?
