Unlinking an Opportunity from a Sales order

A user has mistakenly marked a opportunity as closed won which has created a sales order, they have then create a 2nd sales order when the opportunity was ready to mark close won correctly.

We would like to unlink the first Sales Order from the opportunity but this doesn't seem possible? Is there a work around?
