Service Unavailable - DNS failure

Today many of our users were seeing a message that says:

"Service Unavailable - DNS failure The server is temporarily unable to service your request. Please try again later. Reference ...."

while trying to access the Netsuite UI.  The problem last for 10-15 minutes per user.  Users re-gained access at different times, not uniformly.

Other web pages, including this forum, loaded fine during this problem.

https://status.netsuite.com/ did not give any indication of a problem.

Can anyone lend insight on what this may be and any ways to resolve this problem should it occur in the future?

Anyone else experiencing this issue?
