Items in Sales Orders
Hello Community,
we are a consulting business and want to use NetSuite to track and bill our projects.
We have the issue that whenever we land a new customer and also during our projects, we can never for certain say how many and which consultants are working at the project.
Our billing process therefore becomes a little complicated in NetSuite since we always have to change the Sales Order - i.e. in the beginning we have one item "Professional Services" with a certain quantity - depending on how many consultants work at the project we have to adjust the Professional Services Item to one Item per Consultant. If we don´t do this and bill our customer with a certain amount of Professional Services Items NetSuite only substracts the first Professional Services line of the bill from our Sales Order and therefore we can´t track our project.
