Display Contact name from a list without the Company Name prefix.

In a custom list after I pick a customer, I have a list of contacts that filters based off that customer. However in the list it appears as "Company Name: Contact Name", if the company has multiple parents it can become rather messy. I've tried filtering on the custom field itself but no success as of yet. I just want it to appear as "Contact Name" in the list.
