Any ideas on how to include proof of delivery with an invoice?

We have a third part proof of delivery system which records the proof of delivery information in the Item Fulfilment record.

From this I can include these custom fields in the 'Packing Slip' template so that if this is printed after delivery it becomes a 'proof of delivery' document showing the items along with the signature and names etc.

I'm looking to try and include this POD information with the Invoice document. We are moving to automated invoicing (daily) so in 99.9% of cases there should only be 1 fulfilment per invoice - but there can be multiple invoice/fulfilments for a sales order.
