Show filter value in report header

Seems like a simple enough thing, so maybe I'm missing it.

I want to show the value of a filter in the header of the report, both on the screen and in the exported (XLS or PDF) versions.

Specifically, the DEPARTMENT selected, but it could be BUSINESS UNIT, or anything. 

Is there a way to do this?
