Days since Last Sales Activity (LSA)

I would like a formula (numeric) with a formula that tells me the number of days since Last Sales Activity (LSA).  However I am struggling to find the correct field for LSA.  I guess the formula will be along the lines of:

[today} - {LSA}

But I am not sure what the actual "LSA" field should be.

Any help on this one?
