Can you automate lot from Intercompany sales order to purchase order during Intercompany Transfer Or

Is it possible to automate the lot from the paired Sales order fulfillment record to the paired purchase order when doing intercompany transfer orders?  We want to receive purchase order with the lots that were sent vs. having to manually enter all the lot detail for each item sent to the other location/subsidiary.
