Thank you to everyone for your passion, collaboration, and support. Here’s to building an even stronger community together in the year ahead!
Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

Global Search Custom Transaction Type
Couldn't see where anyone had asked something similar to this. Is there something special that needs to be done to allow a custom transaction type number be searchable in the global search bar for users other than an administrator?
The Include Transaction Numbers in Global Search is enabled
The roles have access to publish searches, find transactions, created/edit the transaction type
There is no where that I see on the custom sales transaction type to tell it to include in global search (As you would see in a custom record).
Also, I am running into a similar issue on a custom field - it is only searchable in the administrator role, even though the field is marked off to be included in global search. Based on SuiteAnswers directions, everything is in order for this field to be searchable by all roles (each role has access to the field/transaction type on which the field lives, the field is marked for global search, etc)
