Payroll Advance

I gave a few employees an advance on their next paycheck. Apparently, because of the way taxes work it did not give the correct net amount.

The gross was doubled but the net was not (meaning Withholding was off, and really it was because we didn't take out the pretax numbers as if they were getting 2 paychecks).

Any thoughts on how to fix this for our next paycheck?
