item group - packing slip
Hello Gurus
regarding item groups
i understand from suite Answer Id: 74441 that i will need to create a workaround in order to:
- not display components on the sales order and invoice
- but display both the component AND the item group name on the packing slip.
Using an advanced pdf template for the packing slip, so I should be able to use some logic such as:
if tranline itemtype =group then print the item group name as well as the component name
i tried to create a custom column field and source the item group name into it for each component line, thinking that i could then print that field on the packing slip if the item type=group. however I was unable to populate the field correctly. {memberof} was not recognized
