Can a Workflow be created to AutoCopy Item's Description

I have a scenario where we have fields DESCRIPTION and PURCHASE DESCRIPTION.

Originally they were going to be slightly different from each other.

But, now things have changed and they need to be identical.

Can a workflow be created that will auto-populate the PURCHASE DESCRIPTION field once the DESCRIPTION field is populated / entered?

If so, please provide some tips on how to do so?
