Credit Card Processing Fee during payment transaction

We are looking to add a CC processing fee to all transactions... we understand how to apply a markup item to a SO or Invoice, however we are looking more for this to be possible when taking the payment.  Our current landscape is that our business is 90% residential service and billed at end of month.  In this manner customers receive a consolidate Invoice (custom detailed line level statement).  50% of our base receives a mailed invoice and the other half are loaded to our 3rd Party billing portal.  Our online partner can charge a CC fee without passing that
