Our management reporting is performed outside of Netsuite and is not integrated, therefore as a financial accountant, it takes too long to see the profit and loss and balance sheet categorized by 'Management account' category.
I would like to create a profit and loss and balance sheet report which groups accounts by 'Management account' category. However one of the problems we have is that a management account category may contain a mix of account types. Therefore I am unable to achieve this by using summary accounts as summary accounts require all the children to inherit the parent's account type.
