Update Customer Record / Trigger Customer Workflow when Activity or Email created
I need to change the status of a Customer Record from Lead to Prospect when the first communication is logged (either an Activity or an Email)
I have created a couple of custom fields on the Customer record linked to saved searches to count the number of Activities and Emails on that Customer.
I have a workflow that will check to see if it is a Lead (of the appropriate Status) and if the Activity or Email count is greater than 0, and then update the status to Prospect.
But I can only get this to trigger on Editing the Customer record.
