Disable Last Modified Date on CSV Import

Is there a way to temporarily disable the system from updating a record's Last Modified Date on CSV Imports?

Our use case is based on updates to Entity records. We have a large number of integrations that look at this date and in some cases we need to update the records with misc data where an update to the Last Modified Date really isn't needed.
