Using Three Steps Authentication (TBA) with WEB SERVICES ONLY ROLE

Hi, I'm relatively new in developing app with SOAP for NetSuite.

Here is my situation:

  • My users connect to my app using TSA to create a token (TBA)
  • All of these users are using Employee Center role (only access to create timesheets and expense reports)
  • I don't want them to see/search Project/Task from the UI
  • The app needs to search for Project/Task details (to get the related Service Item)

I created a new role (NewRole) copied from the default Employee Center role, giving this NewRole the right to view Project/Task and checking "WEB SERVICES ONLY ROLE"
