AE: Update Safety Stock Automatically from Report

Hi

My client requires for safety stock level by item be held in days, however new MRP only allows Safety Stock Qty.

Therefore I am thinking of a solution where we right a report/dashboard to analyse current sales at Client and then use their formula to calculate according to consumption the days cover of stock currently in the warehouse and convert it to a qty.

However even if I am able to do this I would still need a way automatically update the Safety Stock qty on the location record, does anyone have any idea how to do this or assist?
