Customer Sales

I tried to customize the current report Sales -> Sales by Customer. In the report, I want to show the total amount of the sales by the customers starting with BRON. In the report filter, I added to the report component: Customer Part Number: Field: Customer part number: customer, Value contains: BRON%, but it did not work. Please advise!
