Opportunity Status - How are you using it?
It appears that Opportunity Status is tied to the Customer Statuses values which means it has a mix of lead, prospect, and customer status values in it. What values are you using for opportunity status and how do you manage the fact that it has entity level status at a transaction level?
Today we have our prospect status set as the various stages in our opportunity pipeline and provide guidance to sales reps to use that and ignore the lead and customer status values in the list. It's visually clunky because everywhere we use Opportunity Status (e.g. list filters) you see the unrelated statuses.
