Scheduled Workflow is not triggering after submit scripts

Hello Gurus

I have a scheduled workflow that updates a field in the item record.

My item record has an after submit script, which is not triggered by the scheduled workflow execution. The after submit script deployment is active for all possible contexts

Is this a limitant for Netsuite?
