Trend Graphs / KPI Portlet trend graphs

When I am viewing a trend graph portlet or KPI trend graph in 'weekly' mode it is only going back to Feb 26th 2024.

This is from a KPI trend graph when you view weekly it only goes back to Feb 26th 2024 even though the comparison periods are this year to date vs last year to date on the Key Performance Indicators.

When changing from Weekly to Monthly it looks back further (as above) .

trend graphs are the same. What am I not understanding about the weekly trend graph vs yearly or monthly?
