How to Full Country Name to Custom Item List Field

Hello,
We have a custom field in our Sales Order Item List for the Manufacturer Country of the item. We then have a workflow to fill in the field when it is not automatically set when order is created in web store (Don't know why being set so trying to use workflow to fix) > The workflow is also setting another item list custom field without issue but the instead of filling in the full country name it is filling in the abbreviation. We want the fill country name. How do we get the full country name to fill in?
