Alert to user to manually release purchase order from blanket purchase order

Hi there,

I have created a blanket purchase order schedule. What I am trying to achieve: I would like the system to remind user to release the purchase order on the next date. How can I do that? I tried to do saved searches with alert, but I am unable to find schedule 'Date' from the saved search. Can you anyone advise?
