Payment instrument enabled - Show Check # - Create payment method as Type = check

edited Aug 13, 2025 1:53AM in Ask A Guru 7 comments

Hello All,

We have enabled Payment Instruments features as a result of mandatory action on 2020.1 upgrade. On enabling this feature some of the fields get hidden even though available through scripting.

now we need to expose Check # on our transaction forms. SuiteArticle suggest to use workflow to expose the field regardless of payment option selected. Tried using the workflow and it didnt work.

ALso if payment method is type check then Check # is exposed. However, when i create new payment method, i dont have option "check" in my type field. On editing existing payment method, i dont find "Check" as an option in the Type field.

Howdy, Stranger!
