Is Inline Editing Supported for a Custom Sourcing Field?

Hi,

What I mean is that I can enable inline editing for other field types, and in most cases it works. However, for custom fields of type Select, especially when they have a Source List configured in the Sourcing & Filtering section, the inline editing for those fields does not work.

Is that correct?

I already double-checked conditions such as showing the field on the preferred form for the custom role and verifying that the role has the required permissions for that record.
