Expense Attachement - Limit File Size

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a way to prevent users in SuiteProjects Pro from saving an expense item if the receipt attachment is over 5MB.

I initially looked into using a Form Script, but unfortunately, it won't work for this. User scripts don't have DOM or file system access to check the file size before upload, and the SOAP API doesn't expose file size metadata for attachments.

I have also already checked previously with NetSuite Support, and they there is no internal switch to cap attachment sizes.

Since scripting and native settings are both ruled out, has anyone found a workaround or custom solution to enforce this limit?
