Ok. Support seems to have had the heads up on this and i have received the enhancement: Enhancement: 166537 - Ability to prevent Netsuite from saving a copy of the sent Letter Template into the Mail Merge Folder Cheers, Martyn

Hi Phil, I have created a case: 920214. Fingers crossed on getting this sorted out. My Mail Merge folder is now at ########## KB. I guess NetSuite can't count that high! Martyn

Hi vasuca, Would you care to post the settings? I'm trying to do the same. Martyn

We've find a workaround that suits us, but may not be useful to everybody. When the event is created we send create an ics file using nlapiCreateFile to the person the event is for. It up to them to open and save the ics into their Outlook calendar. Primitive i know, but allows us to keep all the Outlook things in one…

Hi Phillip, Thanks for the response. The only way we could get round the problem when setting a new user up on a machine was to make them an Administrator for the machine, re-install NetSuite for Outlook, start Outlook, ensure that they could access NfO then downgrade their access to the machine. It was a bit long-winded…

Nobody at our company really uses Outlook. We have a Diary that has been written in Filemaker, it is basically a large text box and everybody that is doing something simply writes in this text box. It has the advantage that everybody can easily see at a glance what everybody else is up to. It is easy to add to and easy to…

Hello, I'd like to add my views to this thread in the hope that something may actually be done about it. We are in the last steps of implementing the CRM and the calendar is proving to be something of a sticking point. It is the one thing in the company that everybody looks at, but as mentioned above it does not have the…

Hi, Thanks for that. It doesn't quite do what we require. We would like to be in the works order (making 20 assemblies) and be able to print 20 labels. The lablels need to include the number of item, description and quantity in the assembly onto a label that is a specific size, so that when they are stuck on the box they…

Hi ant, As far as i know there is still no fix for this. It is still very frustrating for us. Martyn
-
Hello, I can't speak for Works Orders as we don't use them, but to search for all the Assembly Builds for Widget-A you can use following criteria: Type = Assembly Build Item = Widget-A Main Line = true Hope that helps, Martyn
-
Snoggers, We customised the transaction form for the picking list so that Bin Numbers was ticked for Print/Email. Bin Numbers now appear on the picking ticket. We want NS to tell our warehouse guys where to pick from and I hope that it will be able to. Martyn

You may have to add a bit of scripting for the ASA on the Estimate/Sales Order in order to get that to be the correct figure. On the Opportunity you will definitly have to put some scripting as the Update Projected button will only apply the Sales Amount, not the Alternate Sales Amount. There is an enhancement for this:…

Hi Angie, We have spoken to NetSuite and they tell us there is a major issue at the moment with Saved Searches (Defect # 149322). Hopefully they will sort this out soon. Martyn
-
Hello, I've just found this one in the forum, about 5 minutes after talking to support about it. The good news is that I have been added to an Enhancement Request for this (#67933). The bad news is that the Enhancement is 1017 days old. Don't think I'll hold my breath on that one! Martyn

Hi Bushra, If you create an item search. On the filters tab you can add the filter of Component Item. You can then choose the item and see which kits (and assemblies) the item is a member of. I'm not sure if you can then incoporate this search onto the item form. Martyn

Hello again, After discussion with support, it transpires that there has been a new field added to Online Form, on the Workflow tab, called Handle Duplicate Records. This has a default setting of Update First Record Created, which I am assuming explains the above results. I have changed the field to Always create a new…
-
Hello, I have just found a Lead that was created on 4th Jan and from looking at the System Notes has been changed to completely different details today. I do not know if the original lead and the new lead were using the same machine. We have potentially lost a new lead! I will certainly be reporting this to support. I will…

Hi Corey, I have been toying with Google maps within NetSuite over the last couple of weeks. We have several thousand pins that we wish to publish. The way that you run the geocoding above can take a while - as i'm sure you know. I have found that google fusion tables (a fancy Google Docs Spreadsheet - here) mean that you…
-
Hi Corey, Fair point about the syncing. I didn't realise that you could plot the points on the map without the geocoding. I think that your approach is exactly what we need for a problem we have here. Thanks for the advice. Martyn
-
Hello Corey, Have you tried removing it on a workflow? Help says this: https://system2.netsuite.com/help/helpcenter/en_US/Output/Help/Workflow/WorkflowConcepts_RemoveButton.html?NS_VER=2011.2.0 Remove Button Use the Remove Button action to remove a button from the record in a workflow. You can use this action to…

Hi Olivier, That was perfect, I now have my search results displaying. I'm struggling with the processing now that will allow me to enter a Sales Order number in a field on the portlet and then display the items for that SO. Does the processing go like this: - GET - set up fields and search SO button - POST - search for SO…
-
Ah yes, thought it was something like that!! ;) Will look at getting this done. Thanks for pointing the way. It is really appreciated. Martyn
-
Hi Olivier, I thought the problem might have been the client side of things. I currently run this from a button on the form. Is there the possibility of running a server script from a button? Thanks, Martyn
-
We get this issue quite regularly. Even a cache flush doesn't seem to make any difference. Sometimes all that can be done is to pack up, go home and hope the new script has been 'recognised' the next day. We are on a dedicated database and have come to the conclusion that there may be some database caching going on that is…

Hi Marilyn, I think you can do what you need to do by creating a Report Snapshot. You should be able to create a report detailing what you need, there is an option to create this as a Report Snapshot. You can add this report snapshot onto the dashboard then set this up to be a bar chart. Hope this helps, Martyn

Hello, There is a way of getting alerts to pop up from a server script. As outlined in here: https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=18933&page=2&highlight=alert The script below works when deployed to the customer - I'm sure you can deploy to transactions, cases, etc and source the field from the attached…

Hi, We have a scheduled script that brings up this error (on a Sales Order update). I also have the same problem on some asynchronous web services jobs that run. I have seen this error in the UI if another user has editted and saved the record before i have saved my changes. Though i can't see how this can happen with a…

Hi Cecelia, I know I'm not Yang, but I was told that the issue 129119 has been fixed in 2007.1 which we are not getting until the middle of November. I see from your post that there are further problems with ReCalc so I won't get my hopes up! Martyn
-
Hi Yang, Thanks for the update. I'll cobble together some ServerScript until the maintenance release. Martyn
