You are correct you can't create an event and uninvite yourself. Our work around was to create a new employee called guest and set the permissions on that calendar to full so everyone can add,change etc the calendar. You could lock down the permissions if you need to depending what staff is going to use it. You go to this…

Could you be a bit more specific about how to use a custom search and have it return all addresses associated with a customer? We currently have up to four addresses on a customer record and it would save us a ton of time if we could just do a customer search and get them all at once. Thanks, N

Thanks for the great idea. I have already figured out a way to use it except that I can't figure out how to put a search form on the dashboard. Are you using the custom saved search slot for this? We are publishing a different search there and if I change it to my new search I can see all of the results not the search…

If you are in the Admin role: Go to lists, accounting, other lists and choose contact role as the type. You will be able to add new ones from there. Not sure why it is under accounting. Hope this helps N

Most paper suppliers or printers handle the perforated paper. You can try www.macpapers.com. Also, some of the local companies will perforate paper for you, which might be an option it you only use a small amount and have custom paper.

I think the issue you are having is that when you use the accept the payment screen that search matches in order of how the name is spelled --so if you don't know the first company name you will never find the second name. Are you by chance doing this search as a transaction search instead of a customer search? If you are starting from the transactions you could be picking up all the lines from the invoices etc. which would give you multiple lines for one customer. Depending on what you want them to access and how you want to display the results, you can also use the quick search functionality to put it on the dash board. Just remember to check available for dashboard view on the search when you create it. N

You might want to switch to the internal id which is exposed as a search result now. It is always consistant. We had some issues with the handle and extra spaces in our old data. N

We had a similar issue of trying to log into the Beta the week of our golive and were told by support that they had shut it down and it couldn't be reactivated. Hope that is not the same for you. N

We have the same issue but with projects. We don't see the custom form we use until we do a global search on the project name. We don't see any tabs at all--all the info is unrolled and we miss the header info. A true pain if you are trying to see a statement for a project. It's funny since we don't have the same issue…

Evan, Here is my suggestion, make it a company wide preference--- we could set the default so it would show them or not. Much like you do with billable. For us we would turn it off and then allow the people who want to schedule their phone calls the option. This would avoid the issues of form changes, role setting etc.…

We are using Windows XP, Explorer 6.0 with service pack 2 and our monitor resolution is 1024 by 768. It is weird that it seems to only occur in certain places within version 11. Thanks, Nancy

Evan, The issue is very apparent if you change your calendar view to monthly. There is no way to see the entire month on the screen with out scrolling down or to the right. Do you mean the role that is you see on the contact level like primary contact etc? You can't see those roles when you add or edit a contact. You have to add the role to the contact from the customer record, contact tab. N
