Thanks Mini, But what's the eta on this being fixed. Is it days, weeks or months?
-
Anyone from NetSuite able to confirm this as a known bug and offer some help as to a workaroud or details on when it will be resolved?
-
Here's what I mean: In the newsletter here's one of the links that NetSuite inserted: https://system.netsuite.com/app/crm/marketing/campaignlistener.nl?__lstr=__cl&__r=402979&c=609473&__h=d56a1a9f1fce2e3aa624&url=http://www.webhostautomation.com/webhost-849 If you follow that link in IE you'll be directed to…

This is a huge issue for us at present and a big reason to stop using NetSuite for marketing at all. When we were sold NetSuite they hammered on about how great the Marketing functionality was but, in my mind, it's pretty poor.
-
We have quite a large list but a lot of "dodgy" emails. I've used out (much cheaper) mailing systems that can handle bounces and say unsubscribe email addresses that bounce a given number of times. It's quite surprising that NetSuite aren't able to do this.
-
Yes thanks for that, I'll try that out right now. Basically I want the promotion code that I pass through with the Online Customer Form used instead of the last one added to the campaign. So I'm still not sure which option I need to use?
-
Ok so basically the new campaign id just replaced the old leadSource on the forms? I already have a way to automatically pass leadSource through with forms but I should now replace this with "&id" ? If I follow the method you've posted above I'll end up with 1 campaign for each google adword. In your example one called…

Ok, so I'm now upgraded to v11 and I can sort of see what you mean. So if I create a hierachy as suggested I would then link to the correct campaign in my google ads with a campaign Id? I think I can see where I get/set the campaign Id's but how do I pass these in with the customers forms or attach this to a order?
-
Looking at this again, I'm not sure this solves my problem. This seems to be more related to email campaigns. I simply want to force the promotion code on the customer record to be the one I pass through with the online form - which makes sense to me. But for some reason NetSuite is ignoring it and using the most recent…
-
Ok so are you saying it SHOULD work today with Promo Codes but I need to contact Support to have them "fix" something for me? Can you explain a little bit more about the IDs that replace promo codes or point me to some documentation please? Thanks, Mark Hall
-
I just tried tagging on "id" on the end of a form URL and get the following error: Invalid page parameter. Unable to view page. It does work if I use the id as the leadsource property. I'm struggling to see the difference in using the LeadSource and the CampaignID?
-
Thanks Kathy, Yeah our situation is different in that we get lots of foreign transactions every day and editing them all at the end of the month isn't really feasible. But I think you've hit on how best to do this, what I'm going to try to do is update the exchange rate for a currency once a day via webservices. I'm not…

Any one have any help for me on this? Seems to have gone very quiet around here :-(
-
You're right. I completely missed his post! ;-) Thanks.
-
Any ETA on that Evan? I'm gradually figuring it out for myself but an example of how to use email templates when sending emails from SuiteScript would be very helpfull..
-
Your patience is about to be rewarded. I will be posting an example on Drip marketing later on today. Thanks, Yang Yang, this post from you was nearly 2 weeks ago but I've just to see the example? When can we expect to see this?
-
Mark, Yeah, as far as I'm aware that's always been possible. But the problem is that you need to create all the campaign events manually. For example I need emails that go out to a different group of people every day. I'd have to create a LOT of campaigns ;-) What we're talking about here is NetSuite's supposed new feature…

-
There is a developers guide already but I can't see any examples of this? Or are you saying there's a NEW guide being developed? And if so when should we expect to see it?
-
Oh beleive me, I agree. This is a high priority for me and I'm hopefull this will get built into the system itself. However, I'm not very hopefully that it'll come soon enough for me so it looks like I'll have little choice but to look at scripting it myself for now :-(
-
Yeah, that was a real problem for us because we'd have to manually create a LOT of campaigns. We send emails out to people 1 day, 5 days, 7 days, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 2 months, etc. after they sign up for a trial of our product. And that would mean we'd have to create something like 5 campaign events every day, manually.…
-
I don't understand why this feature hasn't been added really, it's not that complicated. I just need to be able to send an email template to a list of people based on a saved search on a recurring (daily, weekly) basis.
-
I have an issue where in code I'm bringing back the customers overdue balance. All worked fine before an update about a week or so ago but now it always comes back as 0 (zero). Is this the same issue or a different one?
-
What I'm having to do at present is run an external tool that uses webservices to connect to NetSuite, get a list of all customers with overdue balances and email them. It would be better to do this all within NetSuite and it *might* be possible using Script..
-
I'd love to be able to send statements autoamatically once per month to all custoemrs with open balances.
-
I'm not sure how you're suggesting this would be a automated process that autoamtically sends the statements out say once per week? From what I can gather this would involved someone physically doing the mail merge?
-
Umm, you sure?
-
Same here, just stopped working about 30 mins ago. I can't even get to their corporate website http://www.netsuite.com! nightmare.
-
Craig, Can you help me any further with this please?
-
Can anyone help me with this? It's driving my accounts department nuts.
