Hello Community! Josh Maxwell, a User Experience Researcher for NetSuite Foundation has fun a question for you. Imagine for a moment that NetSuite had an assistant like Alexa or Siri. What would you ask of your NetSuite assistant? Use this survey link to share your top questions to the assistant.
Here are some examples to get your creative juices flowing.
"Did I pay vendor John Doe last month?"
"Take me to my largest sales order for this month."
"What invoices haven't been paid yet?"

bump, Spoke to PayPal and they advise that nothing has changed from their end. Problem is still happening, which means we're losing sales. Thankfully not a real busy time of the year. Any comment from Netsuite

You can get this information using the User Login audit trail, but it is a very convoluted process. We would really like this information to be available on the sales order as we have found available on just about every other ecommerce platform we have used. Does anybody know of any existing enhancement requests for this…

Will do. Thanks.

I'm not sure what you're intending with your list but my interpretation is that you want to see a list of all of your customers, one entry per customer, with a single address entry displayed? If that is the case then keep the criteria tab of your customer search blank (unless you've got some other filter you want to…

Hi Paul, You're correct, NetSuite does its transforms server-side so your javascript has got no chance of getting in first. My solution is clunky, but it might spark some better ideas by you or other readers. In your page layout file, duplicate the table for every infoitem that you have. Set STYLE="display:none" for all of…
-
Nice one. This solves my problem of "how do I insert my own alt tags when the NetSuite tag writes the whole img element?". Incidentally, you don't need the first instance of img.style.visibility = "visible"; in your HEAD script - the second instance is going to get executed irrespective of whether you've resized or not.…

Thanks. Have fixed this little typo. Sorry to take so long to acknowledge.

I don't think body onload can be relied upon to fire when using the Back button in certain browsers. It would be taking a copy of the page as it appeared when you left it. According to the cache, you had some big imges on the screen (processing to resize the images doesn't stick - the images are still big behind the…

Our gift certificate email is formatted similar to our order received and order fulfilled emails - HTML formatted and pretty. :) The default email contains all of the available gift certificate custom values: {1} Recipient name {2} Certificate message {3} Certificate value {4} Store name {5} Store URL {6} Certificate…

Google webmaster tools is now recommending the following: "We've detected that Googlebot is limiting the rate at which it crawls pages on your site to ensure it doesn't use too much of your server's resources. If your server can handle additional Googlebot traffic, we recommend that you choose Faster below." What should I…

I know this may be off subject, but I finally was able to upload a sitemap generated by Coffee Cup Site Mapper. However having just checked Google Webmaster tools, I have received the following warning from Google re the sitemap I submitted: "URLs not followed When we tested a sample of the URLs from your Sitemap, we found…
-
Hi Bill, I checked the XML file generated by Coffee Cup Site Mapper and it is putting a trailing slash on every URL in the file. So this is probably why Google is not happy. Not quite sure how to prevent Coffee Cup from doing this. I was using GSite Mapper which does not put the trailing slash on URL's but was not…

Tim The pop-out menu is hand generated using Javascript. When it was originally implemented SEO friendly URL's didn't exist. We are in the process of changing it over as we speak. Hope to get it finished in the next week or so. Aprat from the URL issue, how did the rest ot your upgrade go?
-
Tim One other thing with URL's. I think I noticed in the Beta that they were formatted with underscores rather than dashes. Is this correct, as I can't access Beta anymore. We upgrade tomorrow night. As a 100% ecommerce retailer I'm very concerned
-
We're being upgraded to 2007 this coming weekend and this would be a real concern for me. Does anybody at Netsuite have a comment??

I think you've got too many arguments in your replace call. Given that you're calling replace on the shipToAddress string object, you don't have to list it as an argument as well. To that end, your line should read: shipToAddress = shipToAddress.replace(/<br>/, '\n'); I think that should fix it. If you're after a…
-
Actually, now I'm prepared to declare myself as a regex guru. I was looking in your Javascript reference (very nice) and found the global replace attribute which will replace all instances without looping! So, for the final time: shipToAddress = shipToAddress.replace(/<br>/g, 'n'); Important thing being the…
-
Hi again, The behaviour of the replace method is correct - it will only match and replace the first instance of "<br>" irrespective of whether you've supplied a string or regex to match against. I'm sure there's a more elegant way to do it, but in the meantime you can do this to strip all instances: [CODE]while…

Ditto.. we've experienced the same problems. I had to delete a script from the File Cabinet, then upload the new one. Netsuite failed to recognise it for quite some time. It works intermittently, or not at all at various locations and computers throughout the day. The only way to fix it, seems to be, to edit the file even…

Just came by this thread and have a question (without wanting to hijack the thread) We have a customer that we would like to offer a percentage discount off our online price rather than our base price? Is it possible to establish a price level that discounts the online price?
-
No. The Base Price is the 'WAS' Price on our site and the Online Price is our Sale Price. However the Base Price is used as the reference point for the Online Price where there is no Sale Price (not all items are marked down in our store). eg. Was $29.99 (Base price) Sale $9.99(Online Price) or, in another situation Our…

We had the same problem when we moved to V2007. However the PDF layout applies to voucher cheques as well. We edited the PDF and the changes were reflected in the voucher cheques we subsequently printed.
-
Thanks Cat I've edited the Standard PDF Cheque Form to suit my requirements. So I'm all fixed. The new layout editor is very cool. Ability to change fonts and font sizes and position fields as you like is great! It would be nice if it was metric though, but I'm not going stay awake all night worrying about it.;)
-
Doug It worked like a charm, so all fixed. :) Thanks
-
We have the same problem. What can we do to change the order status so we can fulfill the order.
-
I've checked that out in the past and as soon as I check the box that the payment method is not a credit card, the check box to allow it on the web site is greyed out. Is ther another configuration setting to allow non credit card payment methods?
-
Any word from Netsuite on this problem. I still can't offer Bank Deposit or Cash as payment methods on web site. Costing us sales.....
-
Ken All fixed from where I sitting. :) Thanks. (and to Adrian and the team at Netreturn in Australia)
-
It's also illegal under Australian Tax law!!!!
